Hi, I'm Funmi an exploratory and creative designer based in Chicago. With a background in chemistry, I bring a unique lens to design: one that fuses analytical thinking with creative experimentation. I approach challenges like formulas by conducting research, identifying patterns, and mixing key elements (Design) to produce solutions (Products/Services) that directly address real human needs.

As a generalist designer, I work fluidly across UI/UX, product design, and design research often connecting seemingly unrelated insights to generate thoughtful, systems-aware outcomes. I’m especially drawn to mission-driven work where equity, sustainability, and cultural context matter.

My strengths lie in ideation, research synthesis, and collaborative innovation. I thrive in the messy early stages of problem-framing, concept generation, and rapid prototyping. Whether it's co-founding a nonprofit like StudentLoop, exploring AI collaboration in StyleMorph, or reimagining hairstyling tools in Styliúm, I lead with purpose, empathy, and adaptability.
